sainthel is an ancient town of dist. bareilly.firstly it was habitate by the king budda the founder of suba badaun, he built a fort on the site of ganga river in256b.c. since then it was the economical city of panchala ,after mitra dinesty ruled over sainthel . at the time of king akabar the mugal syed lad came here and fought a war from thakur talluqadars of sarkar badaun .after win the war syed lad went back and this territory ruled by his son syed amanullah . syed amanullah founded his center in khata the center of ajaon and his aciting place was abhay pur.his garnd son syed faizulla fonded the sainthal the place of syeds .he has three son syed fazil, syed jafar and syed abdul wahid. during 1857 nawab galib ali tatari(the king of variours) sent a small army to support khan bahadur khan the chief of rohilkhand.
